MOHR TDR Accessories

MOHR manufactures many accessories for the CT100B and CT100HF TDRs. Some, like the keyboard and case, are convenient to make your instrument easier to use or safer to store and ship. Others, like the various adapter kits, will help you to make better measurements.

Avoiding sharp impedance mismatches helps to reduce the reflections that can affect the data you gather. The Impedance Matching Adapter Kit and the Pin and Socket Probe Kit are specifically designed to help reduce reflections caused by large impedance mismatches.

The Differential Test Set Adapters can make low-loss differential TDR measurements with the single port CT100B. This will produce more accurate impedance measurements, e.g., of twisted pair cables.

The CT100-DA-TRB Differential Test Set Adapter allows for low-loss differential TDR measurements to be made of MIL-STD-1553B networks using the single port CT100B.

The combination of a CT100B with the CT100-DA-TRB adapter will perform accurate, high resolution impedance measurements in installed 1553B systems. The adapter can be connected to either the main bus or to a stub, and the CT100B TDR signal will pass through multiple bus transformers to scan several cable segments.

The CT100-DA-DBNC Differential Test Set Adapter with dual BNC connectors allows for low-loss differential TDR measurements to be made with the single port CT100B.

The combination of a CT100B with the CT100-DA-DBNC adapter will perform accurate, high resolution impedance measurements in multi-conductor systems such as sensor networks, data bus harnesses, and network and commmunications cables.

Our Impedance Matching Adapter Kit is for specialized applications requiring precision impedance matching to the cable or device-under-test (DUT). The kit contains adapters for 75, 93 and 125 Ohm connections.

The CT100-AK-PSP Pin and Socket Probe Kit is the industry's only impedance matched pin and socket probe kit designed specifically for use with a high-resolution TDR. The kit components interface to a wide variety of military and commercial multi-conductor connector types.

The combination of a CT100B with the CT100-AK-PSP kit will produce TDR scans of much greater quality than just using "alligator clip" connections. The minimal impedance change through the CT100-AK-PSP connectors preserves the ability to detect small flaws in the cable being tested.

The CT100-DA-1394 Firewire Adapter is designed to speed up testing of IEEE-1394b cables. It performs accurate differential impedance measurements using MOHR's single-ended TDR.

It has a mini-USB connection for a CT100B to use for automatically switching between the two pairs of conductors, as well as a push-button for manually toggling the connection.

The MOHR CT100-AK-ETH Ethernet Adapter kit provides an easy way to connect Ethernet cables to the CT100B for testing.

The combination of a CT100B with the CT100-AK-ETH Ethernet adapter allows for rapid identification of physical layer faults in Ethernet systems. Detect and accurately localize opens, shorts, & partial faults in Ethernet cables of any length.

Our Precision BNC Adapter Kit offer direct high-bandwidth coupling for testing most coaxial cables and interconnects: BNC-BNC, N-N, SMA-SMA, BNC-N, SMA-BNC, SMA-N, and SMA-TNC. Ideal for working with a CT100B TDR. The kit comes in a rugged plastic case.

Our MIL-STD-1553B Data Bus TRB Adapter Kit makes it easier to perform various tests of TRB (triaxial BNC) terminated cables. This includes aerospace MIL-STD-1553B twinax cables.
